It is quite an obvious statement to say that it has been an intense few months for all of us. I claim this for many reasons — the strange, strange politics, bizarre weather patterns, terrorist attacks, seismic earth movements, and so many souls passing over!
Just as I think I’ve recovered from the latest unexpected event —bam! — it happens again.
What is affecting me the most though is just how many people have chosen this time to transition to the other side. It seems that all of the people I know are losing loved ones, not only our elders, but younger people as well. And it’s not just the people close to us, it’s humans that have made a mark on our collective consciousness; for instance, the music industry which has lost several of its stars recently like David Bowie, jazz great David Baker, and most recently Prince.
It really surprised me at first how wide spread the mourning for Prince has been. I teared up, too, and I was only a casual fan.Curious at my reaction, I decided to take a look at it on an energy level. From this vantage point, I saw how some of the really greats of the world hold up a large part of the matrix, the grid that makes up our physical existence. If you could look at the energy footprint that someone whose influence is so far reaching, whose presence has effected change consistently on the planet, you would see threadlike strands or tendrils that reach forever outward, creating change here that in turn creates change there, and on and on like a domino.
While this entity is physically present, the threads are alive, new energy always pouring in and changing what it touches. But once the entity’s silver cord is cut and he or she is no longer a player on the planet, their active participation in the tapestry, in the matrix, stops. Not that their past influence doesn’t continue to effect change, but what was being poured into the matrix by their physicality is no longer available. What’s left are only the reruns. No new episodes. The series has been cancelled.
There is a loss there, but what does that mean? The English word “loss” conjures up scenarios of darkness, tears, and pain. So without putting any negative spin on it, let’s look at what it actually is — an adjustment in the matrix.
The matrix is a system like the ecological system of the planet. When something changes in it, everything in it must shift to accommodate it. Often one feels the shift as an empty space or a deep hole — until it fills in again. Depending on how close your proximity was to the deceased is how big the hole will feel relative to you. The skin of the matrix does eventually heal and will fill in. But what fills it in? I think that the answer is the healing of love. Like in most times of trials, love is outpouring. In the case of the death of Prince, we were filled with a love so deep that many of us were surprised. That was Prince’s legacy– his final show. With his exit, he created an opening that allowed in a showering of the high vibration of love. That’s what we felt. That’s what took us off guard as the love spread around the planet.
This has happened every time someone near to me has passed over as well. Maybe not as on as large a scale as Prince, but the influx of love is undeniable. However, what has been a particular challenge in all the roller coaster changes is how much and how quickly the hits are coming, not just to me but to everyone around me.
It seems to be part of the new energy coming onto the planet, and as a result of this there has been a portal for departure available for souls to leave if they are ready for whatever reason. Perhaps they are just done and have stayed as long as they need or perhaps they feel they can help support souls who are still in a physical form better in their spirit form from the other side.
The rest of us are preparing for the coming changes here on the planet. I hear from many sources that we are in for some fabulous surprises and that this is a time of incredible manifestations. This is the time to focus on your dreams and create your most magical heart’s desires. So being a believer in magic, I feel we have nothing to lose if we give it a huge shot, especially if you come from the idea that Spirit is using you as a channel. Surrender to Spirit, to God/dess, to the Universe and allow yourself to be a tool for divinity. It’s always a lot more fun and immensely better than anything our human brains could ever make up.
So that is the upside. Let go of the losses and allow yourself to surrender to the shifting of the matrix. This will be much less painful when you realize that all is for a reason and that you are still here to experience this wonderful time of manifestations.
